Come viene organizzata la "European Mobility Week" a Prato?

Prato partecipa alla "European Mobility Week",  almeno sulla 'carta'. (1)

Sembra per la prima volta.

Risulta che Prato dovrebbe organizzare una giornata senza macchine, attenersi a certe cosette, come risulta dal copia e incolla che ho tratto dal sito dell'European Mobility Week.

Cosa la organizza, in concreto il Comune di Prato?

In questa settimana di presunta mobilità alternativa, l'unico evento annunciato è l'UrbanEco Festival  (2) (un altro titolo in inglese!), che sì prevede una finalità ecologica, ma in sostanza è un'altra serie di concertoni a ingresso gratuito.

Non vorremmo che i soldi, (se ci sono e forse no, risulta chiaro solo che c'è un premio in palio), destinati dall'Europa a certe finalità, a Prato fossero spostati, ancora una volta, a concerti concerti concerti, mentre langue del tutto una vera politica ecologica, con nessuna educazione, nessuna pubblicità progresso eccetera.

Oppure che ci dicessero che questo festival è un segnale di politica ecologica. Il che significherebbe che ancora una volta ci troviamo nel mondo delle favole.

E poi insomma, di tutte le belle cose che si potrebbero fare per questa settimana (vedi, The participant is comitted to, ma anche Permanent Measure Implemented),  qui non si fa nulla, se non un triste rilevamento, un questionario!

The participant is committed to: Organising a week of activities, taking into account the focal theme. Implementing one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport. Where possible, at least one of these measures should be a permanent reallocation of road space in favour of walking, cycling or public transport (e.g. road closure, wider pavement, new cycle or bus lane, new traffic calming scheme, lower speed limit). Organising a "Car-Free Day" event on 22 September by closing one or more streets to traffic, and instead opening it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport

Rilevazione degli spostamenti dei cittadini in ambito urbano. La rilevazione sarà effettuata attraverso la somministrazione di un questionario informatizzato, al fine di raccogliere informazioni specifiche sulla multimodalità.
